Just like with a cellphone, the charge time depends on the battery charge level when you start charging the device. If the battery is almost full when charging starts, it may only take a few minutes to top off. If the battery is completely flat, it will take less than 2 hours to fully charge.

The QuantiCheck has a typical battery life of 8+ hours per charge. This will allow for many seal checks to be performed. If you are using the QuantiCheck regularly, OHD would recommend that you charge it at least once each week.

Computer: When connected to your PC, the software will download all the new tests since the last download.
Smart Phone: When connecting to your smart phone, the phone will download only the previous 16 tests

No. The Quanticheck makes sure that the mask has a good seal to your face at the time of the donning. This method is for safety in the moment and does not fulfill the annual fit testing requirements.

 

Look at the front of the Quanticheck and you will see a serial number. On the computer, select the device with the matching serial number.

Computer: When pairing to a computer, you will need to pair using the Bluetooth connection setting on the computer before opening the QuantiCheck Application to then connect the device to the app.
Smart Phone: On your smart phone the application will connect much like any typical Bluetooth device.

Pressing on the Quanticheck closes the air flow so that it’s airtight. The test doesn’t start until a negative pressure is drawn and held in the respirator after the Quanticheck is pressed closed.

 

The battery maybe damaged or expired and you’ll need to replace it.

 

Re-charge battery using the supplied cable and a USB charger

 

The flashing red light would indicate a sensor failure. Re-start device or replace device if error continues.

 

Check that Windows Bluetooth connection and Location services are active on your mobile phone and re-start your QuantiCheck device
Something else might be paired to the device like your computer or phone

Wait for LED indicator to flash purple signaling for a retest of the fit check.
With multiple failures check the mask for integrity issues, seal issues and confirm QuantiCheck® is properly attached to the mask

You will need to re-start your device off mask in ambient air

 

The APR mode is a specific algorithm for Half Face and Full Face air purifying respirators designed to test these masks appropriately. SCBA mode sets a specific algorithm for masks ranging from SCBA to CBRN respirators.
